The only problem with that approach, starryeyed, is that only one female has ever found me attractive. And she had to be at least 300 pounds.

Maybe it is not your imagination that no girl finds you attractive. How about improving on your physical appearance like practising better grooming habits and getting fit by cutting down on junk food and exercising. This is a superficial world, once you look better you'll get more attention. I'm offering practical advice here and I do not mean to be offensive. Anyway, I believe that there is someone for everyone, that is why you see the ugliest of couples having babies.

dont look for girls who find you unattractive ... find the ones who find you attractive ... if you find the opposite, this might do something to your confidence. Look for the girls who think that you are attractive.

Act like you own the room, women like men with swagger, even if the men have nothing else to offer besides the swagger (women are stupid this way).
Then see how she acts towards you compared to how she acts towards others, men and women. If she seems friendlier to you than to others, it is likely she finds you attractive.

Confidence is extremeley attractive to a woman no matter how one looks.
