Go to the top left corner of your screen, (to your account page here) then go to EDIT MY PROFILE. When that page comes up, scroll down to where it asks you what sort of picture you would like to use. Your avatar is clicked, there should be a line that says CUSTOMIZE or just click on the picture itself and it should ake you to the avatar homepage to re-create one.
Or, to make things eaiser, just go to your regular internet home page and type in YAHOO AVATAR in the search bar. Click on it in the list that will pop up and then go to the site and create what you want. Then make sure you save it. When you come back here the new avatar should appear. If you have a yahoo 360 page you can use a picture through there like I do.

Just click on your Avatar and click the "edit" information. Click "appearance " to change your eye/hair/skin color. Click "apparel" to change your clothing, etc.

Go to preferences and delete your avatar.

just open your e-mail and click the pohoto (avatar) and start over
