No, I did apologize once because I misunderstood and the asker emailed me and we got into it, and then made up...touching moment!!!

No. I try to answer only questions that won't embarrassed me or leave me filled with regret by the answers I leave.
I do however, go back and edit a mistake I may find if I reread my answer after it has been submitted.

I've done it once. Someone was talking in the background and while I was typing my answer I started typing what they were yelling. I realized it when it showed up with the rest of the answers.
