Yes, of course. For some women, that's normal. If it's suddenly happened though, check with your GP.

The length of the menstrual cycle can vary from a short cycle of only 21 days to a long cycle of 40 days. The length of the cycle is calculated by counting the first day of bleeding as day 1 and then counting until the very last day before the next bleed (period). The length of the menstrual cycle is commonly described as 28 days, although this may be true for only one in 10 women.
for woman trying to concieve a long cycles is so frustrating i know i have a 35 day cycle.
If your period is regular and normally long then you dont have anything to worry about.although if theyve become irregular or this is a sudden sharp change go see your doc

YES!it definitely does happen!my last cycle was 38 days and i regularly have even longer cycles.they can also be shorter too.the only thing you have to consider is if it is normal for you?there is no right or wrong cycle length it varies from one woman to the next.you just need to observe if it is regular for you.

If you do not ovulate one month, that is perfectly normal. It can happen for a number of reasons, and many women experience the same thing.

Yes, it is possible. It means that something is wrong and that you should go and see a doctor. I had the same thing happen to me and ended up having to have surgery. If you go to a medical professional now, the doctor can regulate your periods. That is if there is nothing seriously wrong that requires surgery. Definitely seek medical attention, do not assume that this matter is nothing, your body is telling you something.
