Depends on what version of firefox you have, but it's usually good at, at least, telling you that it is in need of a plug-in of some kind in order to complete the required task. This notification is usually under the toolbars at the top of the page, and there's a small notice (or button) prompting for a search/installation of the necessary component.

If there is no such prompt, then you can go to the link I gave you (below) and try and do a search for the tool yourself. Be aware of the versions and compatability of the one you have and the tool you want to install so they interface with each other properly.

do you have VLC media player installed? It is needed to watch videos with firefox

open the same application in ur ie internet explorer(IE)
then it would work incase it doesnt install required flash plug in and use it
