life has no meaning we live and die just like every other living thing on earth. we are not put on earth to invent things or make lots of money. If there is a meaning to life it is to overcome these pernicious influences and live in harmony with nature and each other. to live in harmony with all living things you must make the right moral decisions regarding all things living or not. for more enlightenment search zen buddhism (about.com can be very helpful)

We are all here for a reason, and a purpose. When that purpose is fulfilled and we are not needed anymore, then it is our time to go. We are here to help other people, and I also believe that we are constantly being tested our whole life by God to see what we are made of. We keep coming back each lifetime until we have it as close to perfect as we can, and then we pass on to a special place with God and all our past loved ones.

I think that the meaning of life is to discover ourselves and our own individual purpose.
but i could be wrong. For all we know there is no meaning of life and we're here for no reason at all or contrastly we've been put here for a specific reason and set onto paths to achieve certain goals.
but, in the end its really a pointless question because no one will ever know what the meaning of life is, we can only speculate.

to explore within ourselves why we are born here is the true meaning of life. we encounter through trifles, happiness and tribulations during our period and it is to help us understand different aspects of life through experience. Hopefully by our term we should have seen enough, done enough and learnt through our mistakes to know better, understand better, love better, give better, forgive better and be a better person than what we were in our earlier lives. We were not created just to enjoy all the things provided to us, and go back without learning lessons. To gain experience through lifes tribulations and understand the creation is the very purpose and meaning of life.

I think that our ultimate purpose of life is to find hapiness whatever this means. Life is a constant search for hapiness. Of course hapiness is different from person to person, some want to make a family, to be successful, to get an Oscar, to help the others.... I consider sb to be a happy person if he has never regret for his actions. Good luck , i wish you to become happy one day ( you may be already happy and you haven't realise it)!

The meaning of life is similar to a beautiful woman.
Her beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
For me it's as follows;
Life without meaning is existence.
Life without purpose is existence.
Life without fulfillment is existence.
