I think it's true, but I think people have different ideas about what peace means.

All people want to have peace in their own life. But that means sacrifice and turning away from the sin inherent within all, so wanting to live in peace is most often sublimated. An altruistic desire for peace in the world is held by those who don't understand that God isn't going to let man annihilate himself.
