Doesn't seem as though he does. Considering more than 30,000 people die each year from gun related deaths, most of which are in black communities. That was funny when he said that tho...lol...and micheal myers just looked at him like "wtf happened?"...lol

First off. Kanye West needs to shut his mouth. Where was he when Katrina hit? Was he in New Orleans helping the evacuation? Was he there afterward helping with the evacuation? Did he even make a trip to New Orleans while it was still flooded? The answer to all of these is NO. He was probably at a strip club getting drunk or high trying to write a new rap song so all the little naive girls out there would fawn over him some more. For Kanye to try to identify himself with the people left in New Orleans is ridiculous. The first thing he did when he got a contract was buy a house as far away from the ghetto as possible. How real is that?

GW cares about ALL Americans. Why else do you think he puts up with the ridicule and abuse he receives and remains cool and calm on the surface? His response to Katrina was mixed but not near as negative as the Louisiana governor and the black New Orleans mayor. Do you think the black mayor cares about the black community? What really gets me about this question is that you REALLY think that ANYTHING Kanye West says could actually be RIGHT.

Why is his response to Katrina so important? Look a lot closer into what the local and state government did (or didn't do). Look also to Biloxi. They were hit hard too and you didn't see them crying to FEMA for help.

Ha ha ha! No, he does not care. Katrina was disaterous in many, many ways and not just what the storm did. Victims of the tsunami recieved help much faster than the victims of Katrina and they were in another country! What was wrong with that picture?!
