I live in an apartment complex and I am using a wireless internet router to broadcast my internet connection. How do I find out if someone else (and who) is using my internet besides me? I'm using a Linksys router.

Am I able to get a list of computer names that are connected to my internet access point?

You can't. Just encrypt the thing and that's it.

To see who's currently connected to the router with a DHCP adress, go to your Linksys router set-up page (type your router's IP address (usually 192.168.1.1) into a web browser, and type in your password if you have one), click on "Status" at the far right, click on "Local Network," which is below "Status," and click on the "DHCP Client Table" button. You will now see the name, IP address, and MAC address of everyone who is currently connected to your router with a DHCP address.

Open up network places, then click on view network connections. you will see them, and beable to access any thing they have shared. hard drive (unlikely) folders(very likely), and printers.
you can only get at what the got marked as shared.

Better still ... set up WEP to stop others from using your connection...

Have a great day!

Put some sort of authentication on, wpa (NOT WEP, this is very insecure).

Put access control on via MAC, or check your logs.

Thats it

If you notice that your connection is slow, someone is using your connection.
