Hi, my eel died a couple of weeks ago, and it was very weird to me because one afternoon, just a couple hours after feeding it, I found it on the floor all dried up. There was other fish in the tank, but not as mean as him. The aquariams lid was closed! Do we have an detective here?

Eels are escape artist. You just about have to have the top completely sealed to keep them in. If there is any way out, they will find it.

You dont need a detective here you just need some common sense. All Eels are excellent escape artists and what has happened is that your Eel has snuck out from your tank and slipped to the floor and died. Even a blind man can figure it out.

Some fish will discover cracks in your top such as where the filter sits. They will jump out of the tank at that point. I had a frog that was at the foot of my bed one morning. I didn't know what it was until i got closer. He didn't move so I put him in the toilet to flush him and he started to swim. I thought he was dead.
