I love mine. I use it when ever I see a stain. Carpet, furniture, throw rugs, the interior of my car. I use the manufacture product for my machine and it takes care of any build up like dust on the back of the couch. Best investment I have ever made.

it should clean up good , but use this
1 gal of bleach
1gal of SImple Green
2 gals of water
or break it down into small portion
spray let set 30 mimute and spray rinse

steam cleaner can be used for everyday dirt they also get rid of every day smells i.e tabacco, food, rubbish bin smells that sort of thing

U can use them on nearly anything as long as u read instruction booklet and be very careful. Good luck

They are for everyday use. I use my steam vac at least once a week.
PS -It also helps allergies.
