This question smells a bit like one I asked about the new dangerous philosophy of Preemptive warmongering by the new blair/bush (note the small letters) doctrine.
Is it only the Brits and the USA that should enjoy this travesty or can anyone one strike preemptively. If so look out for the Iranian bomb in your back garden.
When are you neo-cons gonna be told.. war serves only the interests of the Military Industrial complex... not you or I. We just have to keep looking over our shoulder at all that we have pissed off.

What do you mean by safe? Preemtive or agression? Who are the Libs?
The fact is no mater how it was started there is a war going on now and I do not nean Iraq either. Yes Iraq is part of it but just part.
There is most definately a war between the Muslims themselves and the muslems aginst all others.
Most of Europe is in denial just as they were in the 1930s and will soon have to pay the price.
This war is nothing like the ones in the past and there will be many mistakes made learning how to fight it. It will take many years and many lives befre it is brought under controll.
This battle has only just begun.

Historically, Great Britain tried to take over Iraq in 1918. They failed. Now George W. Bush has tried it again, and he has failed.
The only thing that will keep the US safe is for our government to stop exploiting the Middle East. Greed is what has caused our lack of security.

...because we can spend our 13 billion a month on fixing roads and bridges...this is not our country we have no reason to be there except to puff out our chest....btw, this is not a military conflict which is why a military solution wont work...Bush wants 20 thousand troops because thats all he has and because he has nothing to lose...his presidency is already in the toilet (but if by chance it did work, he can say, "I told you so!")
