Sabres fans crack me up. Typical responses from fans of cupless teams.
At least we have our name on the Cup -- permanently. What has Buffalo accomplished?
Give me poor ratings all you want Sabres bandwagoners. The rest of the NHL knows the truth.

So the Sens have won 5 out of 8 games against the Sabres. This will mean nothing in the postseason. It might mean something if their record was 6-2 or 7-1, but I'm not paying attention to this stat. These teams are pretty evenly matched, and very very good. As a Devils fans I hope they both get knocked out in the first round. As a hockey fan I'd love to see them meet in the East finals.
I'm always a believer that a better overall record means more than a good head to head record. It's based on a lot more games so it's more reliable as a statistic. Plus, if you meet in the playoffs, the team with the higher points total get home ice, and THAT means more than H2H in the grand scheme of things.
I still like the Sabres in a 7 game series though.

Ottawa sucks period. They barely beat Buffalo 6-5 with a garbage goal that had bounced off the boards badly. Buffalo was playing them with 8 regulars out and bunch of call ups from Rochester in the lineup. GET REAL Ottawa barley won and had to do it in the final 4 minutes.By the way EMERY is a joke he cannot stop a whiffle ball in slow motion! SABRES OWN THE DIVISION AND LAST TIME I CHECKED WERE 11 POINTS AHEAD OF OTTAWA.

Doesn't matter, who beat you in the playoffs last year, and rather easily at that, and are playing stronger as a team this year, and healthier, go choke in the first or second round and lose that idiotic jersey with the cartoon character, Ottawa, what a joke of a city.
