An atheist proclaims loudly that there is no God and never has been.
Zeus hears this and is fed up with the whole mess, so sends down these two to "discuss things" with him.
One problem: whereas Athena wants to reason with the person, Artemis wants to hunt him down and kill him.
This allows an open discussion about faith, religion, how God (or Gods) really impact the lives of men.
Here's the kicker. Artemis does kill him, but Zeus comes down (shades of Deus ex machina!) and brings him back to life, giving him a stern lecture in the process.
(I will get a by-line credit and royalties, right?)

The story began as Artemis was listening to Andy Williams singing Moon River as she started to prepar for her evening of hunting under the light she was named for. Not far away Athena was at the chalk board working the math and figuting the best routew to start her voyage, tracking everything with her infinite wisdom

A play about a lonely obese fireball trying to survive in a snow storm while seeking directions, and no one would help him because, well, it's a huge fireball.
He is slowly but surely dying, and crying only kills him more as the tears put out his fire too...

hmmm...how about a classic love triangle, include an obscure person,like one from another era in time...Artemis must fight Wyatt Earp for Athenas love..
may even take on a comical slant..hey its all I can create in the mornings..=)

they compete for the hottest guy on earth, hercules. artemis tries to impress him with her feline-like body and hunting skills, while atena bedazzles him with her smarts. and then venus comes along, and prometheus gives Man the Fire just as pandora's box is being opened
