Yes, of course, there are racist people everywhere. But just because people were looking at you in church does not mean they were racist. You said yourself that you don't usually go to this church. The people were likely looking at you because they realized they did not know you, that you were visitors. Most likely that is all it was. They looked at you because they didn't know you and they know many in their congregation.I think you are being too sensitive about this. I don't think it had anything to do with your being Asian. In my Christian congregation, we have blacks, whites, Asians and mixed races. We love and welcome everyone. That's what Jesus wanted. For everyone to get along together and feel loved.

A Church with a racist motive and believe Christ is only for there people is a Church born straight out of Hell. Satan is their Father. The Book of Revelation 7;9 say after this I saw a great multitude which no man could number of all nations kindreds and people and tongues stood before the Lamb clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. Note not every nation is not of the same race. I feel sorry for those who follow a race base Church.

R U racist? I mean the thing that u noticed about the church was that there were mostly white attenders. Maybe the attenders noticed that u were a asian family. If they were racist then so r u. Of course some of the people may have been racist but not necessarily because of that. Just looking at someone new.

Its really sad that people see other people in a different way, We are all Heavenly Father children if people were staring at you and your family and thinking thoughts they will be account for there actions when we are all judge by our Heavenly Father. Was born and raised in the south and through out my life I saw how other people judge other people so thankful I had loving parents that taught me to respect all people no matter what race they are because we are all brother and sister in Heavenly Father eyes. Most people don't believe that but its true Keep your faith and may God bless you and your family

Newcomers are usually given a quick "look-see" by everyone, especially if it's a small church or if you're a bit out of place. No racism noted tho... unless the entrance to the building said "Aryan Nation Church" or something.

They probably were not looking at you because you were asian, they were looking because they haven't seen you there before.
Don't jump to a negative conclusion so fast my friend.
They were simply wondering who you were.
Church is a place of worship and fellowship, I really doubt it was anything racial.
Turn it around once, if a family from that church showed up one Sunday at your Asian church, wouldn't everyone wonder who they are and why they were there?
But I doubt anyone would be bothered because they were white.
That's how I see it.

Most people at church go every Sunday, Wednesday, all the meetings, etc. They all know each other. When they see someone new walk in, no matter what the race, they always check them out.
