Why was there little warning for the 2oo4 Tsunami on Boxing Day? Would it have made a difference had there been a system such as in the Pacific? [Research this and answer please ;)]

as far as i remember no system was in place to the standard of the one used near america. the only difference would have been an early warning so people could have fled in time and fewer lives would have been lost

because it makes no diiference there would have been less lives lost but everything would have still been destroyed
