I know. What happened to when cartoons were cute and funny? Today's kids are seeing some really strange things. But that's for a reason. Companies know that the world is going to hell and are paying cartoon companies HUGE bucks to put violence, terrorism, global diseases and what not into their shows. They're slowly exposing children to the idea of what can happen so they aren't as shocked if/when something actually does.
I know this sounds crazy but this is FACT.

OMG,I totally agree with you,my husband and I talked about that a few times,what happened to bugs bunny,daffy duck,road runner,flintstones,etc,all the good ones we grew up on?!

No, I have not watched them and maybe that is a good thing now that you have said that. The old ones went the way of the 11 mpg engine. Sad.

I like Spongebob Squarepants and Fosters Home of Immaginary friends.
The other cartoons suck.
I wish they still had Bugs Bunny on tv

I like to watch the old cartoons today, as an adult. When you really listen, you can pick up on things that you heard as a kid that you didn't realize were so darn funny. But now as an adult, you GET it.
eg.- Olive Oyl to Popeye- "Oh, Popeye, you're so rheumatic!"

you are right!
the last fun cartoon was ninja turtles, but it got a bit violent there at the end....
the good cartoons was JEM, super power twins. transformers, the old stuff was the best!
