Mix half boric acid powder and half sugar. Take a drill and drill one small hole in each wall. You can use a slice of paper to make a small funnel and pour the powder in the hole. Within two weeks, every roach in you house will be dead. If you live in a large building it will take more time, but it can kill every roach in a building with 50 apartments in 2-3 months if you do that from only one apartment.
If you don't want to drill holes, sprinkle it inside all the cabinets and in the corners of the room, it may take 3 weeks this way rather than 2 and it's a little messy, but works just as well.

Plain old Boric Acid does wonders for cockroaches. Sprinkle it around the rooms of the house. It works much better if mixed with a sweet substance, we use powdered sugar in the US. They eat the sweet substance mixed with the boric acid and it's not great for them. Plus, it sticks to their feet and they take it back to the nest with them, the other roaches eat it off of them because it's sweet. We lived in an aprtment one time that had roaches, it was exterminated every month, but that didn't work. My mom found out about the boric acid and sprinkled it around and within a week or two they were gone. We have no idea where they went, but we didn't care either!!

When I lived in Toronto, I had them bad in one apartment.. Can't remember the name of the things, but they came 12 to a pack, they were small 2x2inch by 1/2inch black boxes.. the roaches crawled in one side and out the other...while in there they got coated with a poison..they work like a dream.. buy 2 packages and put them all over the place..they really work.. replace them when it says to do so..

Boric acid is a antiseptic sold in Pharmacys. It is non toxin and for some strange reason chases those disgusting things out. What you do is spread the powder making a border especially in places they may breed. It is a crystaline solid that would have to be replaced in a few days but I can promise you they will not necessarily die but leave. Good Luck

Mule Team Borax in the laundry soap isle works wonders sprinkled around the baseboards. Roach Motels really did the trick for me also. I was infested and after the roach motels I didn't see any for months afterward!
