There's this little Indian grocery store a few (30) minutes drive from where I live. They have the BEST fresh vegetarian samosas in the city. Made fresh every twice a day and kept warm over a propane heater. Not those stupid light bulb things. 3 for a dollar. I go in there with a couple bucks and I have my dinner!!

I always go to my local bookstore. I can spend as much time as I want to reading, without having to buy anything. Most likely, I'll buy a cup of coffee or a magazine, or a bargain book.

Somerfields, closeby just for the most necessary items, i find them expensive. Mostly buy bread-rolls, silly things like Jik etc. Too many females hanging about there with loads of kids, smoking and making rude remarks to people rather go to Asda with my hubby:)))

Tesco and it drives me mad 'cause you pay over the odds for it being the nearest store to us out here in the sticks.

Bread and Milk is the most usual thing I buy.

I used to buy everything locally, now, I use ebay for everything from ties to watches. If I do go into town it would be for repairs or building materials :)
