I would suggest finding about if your warranty supplies replacement headphones, but if they don't I would reccommmend getting another pair of IPOD headphones because I hear that they are the best headphones on the market right now.

The original iPod earbuds are junk. They're free, and they identify the user as owning an iPod (which can make you a target for theft), but that's about all they're good for. Go to a store with an electronics department and shop around a bit. The four basic types of headphones that you can find are earbuds (if you're dead set on getting more of these, there are some models that have far superior sound quality, or Zip-Linq makes a set with a retractable cord), clip-ons (my favorite in this style are made by RCA and have a rubber loop instead of a rigid plastic clip to hold them to the ear), lightweight banded (over-the-head or behind-the-neck with ear-sized foam pads), and studio (the type that fully encompass the ear). If you want good sound quality, try looking for headphones that use neodymium magnets.

I would suggest you learn how to type right, and then buy the in ear headphones at www.bose.com . they are the best and highest rated ear buds out there. the base quality is incredible, but i would still get the new ear buds from apple, even if you just get them, and sell them to help pay for the $100 Bose ear buds
