well yesterday i took a 2 hpt, and they were positive! Im so excited, but last month, on jan.24th, i had a very short, abnormal period. And when i took the tests, the line came up right away, and dark too. Do you think i was pregnant last month when the very short period came? Or is that possible? If so then i am around 8 weeks, if not then im about 4. Please help me out! Thanks so much!

go to the doctor and get an ultra-sound done....first let your doctor know whats been going on. the ultra-sound person will be able to tell you how many weeks you are.
it is possible too be 8 weeks. but please go see your doctor.

That happened to me. A month before I found out I was pregnant. When it came time for my period I had really light spotting that only lasted a few days. The next month when my period was late I took a test and got a very dark line right away. I went to my doc and she told me that was called implantation bleeding. It's the bleeding that happens when fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation. Not everyone gets it though. I got it with my son but never had it with this pregnancy. Well congrats on your pregnancy. Have a Happy and Healthy 9 months !

Well, for me and most people I know, at 4 weeks the line is still pretty light. But I took a test 7 days past my expected period with my last pregnancy, and in a matter of one day it went from faint to dark. You OB will be able to tell on an ultrasound exactly how far along you are. Some women just produce HCG faster, or ovulate earlier in their cycle than other women. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

when I got pregnant with my first child I had a period for 4 months before I even knew. When I missed my period I was 4 month along. Didn't have any symptoms at all..

You could have been preggers last month. The only way to know is to get a sonogram and see how big the baby is. Good luck and congrats.

Sometimes that could happen.Some women have period in their first or their second month of pregnancy.I know a girl that was pregnant and this happened to her.

Hi, I had a few friends around me are also like tat. Different people different explaination, so i think that you should go and ask your doc about it ASAP to have a peace of mind.

Yes you could have been pregnant last month. I spotted my first month. Just try to go to the doctor or health dept. ASAP.

yes you could have been, you can be pregnant and still have a period for a few mounth. It is normal to have a Short period your first mounth.

It's possible but only an ultrasound will be able to determine that.
