hi how do i make the cue ball make a upside down U with the cue ball without hiting anything. thanks

almost like a jump shot, except you don't follow thru. about 45 degree angle, two cue tips off center, takes practice.

Get your hand as close to the ball as possible and spread your fingers out to get a low profile. Now wrap your index finger around the stick just loose enough to let the stick slide. Now aim the stick low on the ball either in the bottom center, right bottom, or left bottom. Then hurry up and get your hand out of the way because the ball is going to come right back at you.
