Yes, do it. Rivera is not only vastly better than Dempster (who might lose his job if the Cubs acquire someone better), but he's arguably the very best in baseball (though one could make the case for K-Rod).

Olsen is not as good as Kazmir, but he might be -- he's still improving, and Florida's going to give him more run-support than TB will for Kazmir, as well as having a much better bullpen than TB to close out games for him. Kazmir will get more K's than Olsen, and probably has higher production ceiling, but Olsen will be stable in ERA, wins, WHIP, K, etc -- i.e. he won't hurt you.

Jones for Nixon is negligible, and is a push.

But, Rivera for Dempster is the key here, as you get way more in return than you're giving up. You should accept this trade with confidence.

Kazmir is really good, Olsen is above average
Dempster is decent, Rivera is awesome
Jones and Nixon are about even.
I say to accept the trade because either way your going to keep or get a good closer or starter.

No, Rivera is getting older and Kazmir is a young and talented pitcher, you would be losing Dempster and Nixon which isnt good
Its a NO

Anytime you can get a top notch closer for a playoff contender, and only give up POSSIBLY good SP's, pull the trigger!

Tough one. I don't think I would do it though. You are getting an upgrade on closer, but have to give up a good starter for that upgrade. The other players are filler.

This is a tough one. If the trade is accepted, you will have the up-side. But, he/she will probably do good after the trade, but you will do better.
