error calculation help?

in a table of results i have columns of mass, tension, possible minimum mass, possible maximum mass, possible minimum tension, possible maximum tension, negative errors of tension and positive errors of tension. however i cant work out how to get the negativ and positive errors of tension. any help? thanks

Let's do just mass

based on the scale or balances you are using the precession of measurement varies by say by tolerance of + or - d

then the maximum equal mass m+d
and the minimum mass is mass m-d

Similarly are the measurements for tension
T=mg
since m is fluctuating between max and min so will influence the tension since it is a product of the mass measured (m) and acceleration due to gravity (g).
