Wow you people are completely wrong... its a tie between Dante Hall and Champ Bailey... each one ran a mid 4.1. they raced each other and the winner was always the one who got the better jump off the line... Laverneus Coles is not fast compared to Randy Moss and Santana Moss (no relation) Chad Johnson runs a high 4.2 and so does Quentin Jammer and Darrent Williams may he R.I.P

And for you other idiots that mentioned Deion Sanders and everybody else... he said current players... good job learn how to read

there is Darrell Green who played DB for the Redskins for I believe 20 seasons. He was long thought to be the fastest player in the league during his career. There was also Willie Gault who besides football was a sprinter in college and was in the Olympics. He played for the Bears during the mid 80's. There is also Renaldo Nehemiah who was a world class sprinter and played wr for the 49ers in the early to mid 80's. I guess you really wanted current players but I though you might be interested anyway.

deion sanders ran a 4.29. That was the fasted recorded in the NFL until Fabian Washington ran a 4.25 in the combine in 2005. No one has beaten that (officially) yet.

I think that it came down between Mike vick and Reggie Bush. I think that Mike Vick won by like .1. Then the runners up were D- Hall and Then that d back for the redskins

Tye Hill of STL. 4.3 40. He supposedly ran a 4.2 in High School.

Deion Sanders ran a 4.3. More notably, he ran a 4.5...backwards. This means he was faster running backwards than most people were running forward.
