Over 60,000 americans die in car crashes every year. Yet the media doesn't even pay notice. No one seems to care. People keep driving fast and agressively. Where's the outrage? These aren't accidents, they are caused.

That is funny isn't it? People have irrational fears and the things we aren't afraid of at all are the ones that kill us the quickest.

I think that people are very afraid of Nuclear energy because they say if something goes wrong it could kill many people..yet when cave men invented fire, fire could kill many people also and yet people still today use fire to cook food and heat houses.

People die from water too...many people drown but we still bathe daily, clean our houses with water, swim in it and drink it regularly...and yet...water can kill you!!! People don't cover their pools and children fall in and drown daily across America. If we want to be afraid of something, why aren't we afraid of water? Water kills more people and creates more brain damage than nuclear energy.

We worry about war and yet people die more often in peaceful situations than in war situations through disease, everyday street crimes, car and airplane crashes, doctor's misdiagnosis and where is the news media concerning that?


We worry about our children dying because of salmonella and won't feed them spinach, peanutbutter, eggs and so on and yet more children die of child abuse than from eating anything. (And where is the outrage for that? Where is the news media when it comes to reporting truth?)

People and their worries are insane!!!! People should learn to take responsibility for their own lives and quit worrying about the improbable.

Well, did you know the staggering amount of children who are raped, molested, and sold into the sex slave industry all over America every day?! Yet, the media and Hollywood and Washington and people like you only care about the war in Iraq, knock-off Gucci bags, what celeb is married to whom, what Rosie will tell The Don this week, and gas prices.

but suicide is double the road toll ,and adverse reaction to perscribed drugs are shocking , but as previous poster postulated child molestation runs to one in four ,
