Smooth top Kitchen Aid element doesn't work?

We recently purchased a KitchenAid smoothtop convection oven and one day out of the blue one of the elements broke. It no longer gets hot or warm for that matter. The other three elements work fine. Any idea why or how to fix?

Let's hope it is still under warranty. You can check where you bought it. If that doesn't help, get the model number off it and do an Internet search on Kitchen Aid and the model number. There should be a "contact us" spot there. Ask them.

Are there breakers or fuses on each element? I'd check that first.
