I am on Yaz not YASMIN so please don't tell me about that pill. I am starting my second placebo pill today and my period still hasn't came is this normal? This is my first pack of birth control. And if it doesn't come should I start my next pack like normal? I also had unprotected sex on V-day but I had been taking the pill for 2 wks on a first day start so supposedly I was protected and I used spermicide so I would hope I am not pregnant
and I always took them on time one or two times I took them like 5 minutes off for example I take em at 11:30 but one day I took it 11:35

I am on Yaz too and my period doesn't usually come until I have taken the third placebo pill because my body has always been on a 27 day cycle. So it just depends on what cycle your body is on when you will have your period on the placebo pills. If it hasn't come by the last pill, then call your doctor.

Taking the pill 5 minutes off won't hurt a bit. I'm on YAZ and have been for 3 months. I love it. I was on Yasmin. It took a couple months for my body to adjust. Which is probably what's happening with you. However, the first month I was on my last placebo pill before starting. My Dr. is known in NC for his advanced research in Women's health. Dr. said that regardless of when you start or don't start, you continue to take the pills in order. You are trying to "train" your body to stay on that 28 day cycle but to shorten your periods. If you get off the schedule, it can cause your body to go back to pre-pill days and have a 5-7 day period.
Stick with it. You'll love YAZ! I know I do.

Just wait, sometimes it takes awhile for your body to get used to the pill. You might not get your period this month. It took me two packs to finally get my period. If in about three months you have not had your period, go to your doctor. You might need to try another name brand.

I believe that nothing is wrong... your body just has to get used to it... your period may be off a little because of the pills...but it will get back normal in a few months...but you should use backup protection to be safe!!!

My late wife took birth control pills. She was told by her doctor that she would normally expect to be free of menstruation at weekends.

all birth control pills are suppose to take one month to work. But with any birth control pills it can really mess up your system. In my case I could die, because they cause my white blood cells to eat my red blood cells. Doctors are to quick to perscribe birth control pills with out weighing out the health risk.

Did you ever get your period? I am having the same problem. A Sunday starter, take it the same time everyday, and am waiting for my period.
