I am the master of unusual names, my son's names are Fox (David is his middle name, it was a family name) and Xander Adiel. If I had a girl I was going to name her Genesis (could call her Genie for short) or Xavria. With middle names you have to be a little careful depending on what her last name will be. You don't want to give her terrible initials (like FAT or RAT, or PIG or HOG). Nice middle names are Jaiden, Ayven (pronounced AA- Ven) or use a mixture of grandmothers names. My son's grandmothers middle names were Ann and Leigh, LeighAnne is too popular so I considered Anlee. Good luck and hope you find a keeper.

And there is nothing wrong with unusual names. Better than being one of 37 Emmas or Johns in class. And contrary to popular belief they will not be bullied just because they have an unusual name. As long as they are nice kids and respect others they will NOT be bullied because of a name. I went to school with a guy named Binky (birth given name) and he was NEVER made fun of. In fact the cool thing is to have unusual names. My name is Vanessa and although its getting more and more popular, I was the only Vanessa in my school. I have gotten so many compliments on my name, so many more so than my sisters Becky and Jessica. So if your children get bullied because they have an unusual name, there is something more wrong there than the name. And as far as being taken seriously, Binky is now a successful Lawyer, went all the way through college and grad school and never had a problem with his name. In college you deal with adults, FYI.

BTW Shiloh is a pretty name! As is Kaia.

OK,I'm 13 and even I named my twin-daughters with normal names. Are you 10 years old so you think out names for the poor children? Why not something normal? For example my children are named Emma and Amber and they aren't going to be bullied at school...like Shiloh. The first name Kaia is OK.Try as a third one Dayana or Jamie.

As a mother of 7 children and 8-th o the way,I would advise you not to name your children with so...unique names.Because they are going to be bullied by other people and one day they will need to be taken seriously when they decide to go to college or university. My children's names are Jennifer, Robert, Kateline, John, Emma, Benjamin and Sandra and the 8th (girl) is going to be Jordan.
