You need two things--a smoker to keep them pacified. And a commercial sprayer to spray a mixture of 1/2 soap and 1/2 water into their nest, and over the bugs themselves.

The soap will clog their breathing spicules, killing them from lack of oxygen.

Or you can do what a friend did, and spray them with foam from a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. Then haul the nest and the bees outside using a shovel, and set fire to their remains using accelerant. Be sure that you have chosen a safe place to burn them away from buildings and overhanging trees.

Your state agricultural extension can give you the names of beekeepers in your area. A bee keeper can remove the bees and take the hive to an agricultural area to be released. It's win-win, as you'll no longer have the bees, and the bees will survive to do what they do best-- pollinating and making honey.

If you can see their nest then wait until it's starting to get dark out when most of the bees are back home and use a bee killer spray to spray the nest.

Well you could wait until it gets colder and then remove the nest. After doing that seal up all cracks and other ways into your shed that way they won't be back next year. If youcan't do that go with the exterminator.

I strongly recommend calling an exterminator. That said, if you use poison, make sure it is the kind you can spray from 12 feet away. Do it after dark and be prepared to run like hell. Best of luck.
