Wisdom is a function of experience over time. (Sounds like math, doesn't it?) The longer we live, the more experience we accumulate, and the better we are able to process that experience into useful information that guides us through the rest of our lives. So, the older you get - the larger your database! But real wisdom lies in the ability to apply the data usefully. Many people get wiser - some just get older! :^)

that is absolutely true. we do become wise the older we get. because through experience, we know how to handle a particular situation. experience also helps us in our relationships with people because we not only learn from our life but alos by observing the people around us. so we become wiser and more capable 2 deal situations n people.

Maybe not wiser, as many keep making the same mistakes. But we would of experienced more and hopefully have a better knowledge.

wiser I'm not sure but the more life experince you have does come in handy to help people. So as to the wiser with age I would say its how people view you.

Not necessarily. "Wisdom comes not with age but with observation" (sorry don't know who said that) Age doesn't help memory. But age gives you a lot more time to observe.

When you are young everthing is fresh, new and wonderous. When you are old nothing seems new, except for the young people with stars in their eyes dazzled by the first experiences of life.

most of us do, whilst others don't, mainly because they choose not to. it very much depends on he/she's mindset and whether they feel as if they have developed, not just on a physical level, but spiritually, emotionally and as you mentioned gaining more wisdom throughout our lives and through the types of experiences and people they encounter. though i really do hope so, although with some of the idiots on this website, i very much doubt that in regards to them

I'm 32 and I look back at some things I've done and wondered how I could be so stupid. But I know I still have a long long way to go.
