I think he dreams about heaven. He considered it a "good dream".

Didn't he say something about not to be afraid of death, but to be afraid of the unlived life?

Tuck would rather sleep, dreaming a good dream about a different life, one without ever being in Treegap, and going to heaven.

I didn't read the book but I saw the movie! I loved it! One of my favorites. It's been a couple of years but I believe he dreamed about a normal life. He didn't like the fact that he had to live forever. Because you have to keep moving all over because you never grow old and people would notice. You can never find love, because they will die and you won't. They said that with everything else, they or it, like a tree or plant or person, have a time on earth, and with them, they just are, because nothing can kill them. Hope I remembered all of this right for you.

im sorry, but you really should do your own work. I know this isnt helpful to you, but you really should just buckle down and read the book. (I have had to read it three times in school because of moving and it nearly killed me. I now hate the frickin book. You, on the other hand, only have to read it once.)
