Have they had a transformation, or is their concern just a ruse for political dissension since we know they wished our Conservative, White, Southern men were all dead?

Don't these Liberal Bedwetters realize how transparent they are and that is why the American people do not trust them to occupy the White House, leaving Republicans in control of the Executive Branch for 28 of the last 40 years?

As such, will Republicans continue to expose the Anti-American Liberals until the Draft is reinstituted and some of their kids get out from behind the video games and/or obtain release from Rehab to become real Americans and fight for a change?

It is no wonder that there are more Conservatives in the military. Libs seem to hate our men and women who wear the uniform. They want to make Iraq another Vietnam. But I tell you now, if I ever see one of them spitting upon their savior's EVER, like they did in the Vietnam era, I'll make sure they won't know what the word Liberal is, ever again.

If 60% of the military personnel are republicans and only 7% are liberals, what are the rest? I am an individual that you would probably consider a liberal (something tells me that you would consider anyone left of Attila the Hun a liberal) and I served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps while you were at home playing video games. I notice that the conservative draft dodgers like G Dumbya send our troops to fight and die with callous disregard for the realities of the situation because they have not been there. Perhaps you should go to Iraq for a year and a half.

Look, we know the military is generally conservative - hell, I was in the military and I know it to be true. But the conduct of the war is not about what the troops are politically, it is about what this administration (made up of mostly non veterans) has done be getting us enmeshed in this lousy, pointless war. Bush put together the ISG and ignored them when their conclusions did not jive with his. He got rid of Powell after making him the fool for the world by pushing the intel Bush and Cheney cooked. He and Rumsfeld denied commanders more troops in 2003 and 4 and now want to add more.

It's a crappy war and there is no easy way to extricate our troops out now. Hell, even the Brits are hitting the road. In 6 months, US troops will have to go to Basra to bail out the inept Iraqi army and police.
