He has yet to choose but even if he chooses rehab he will probably be out until the very end of the season from all the information I've seen. So, should I go ahead and drop him? And should I pick up Posey???

I did -- luckily, someone had dropped Richard Jefferson earlier in the year, and I picked him up. Like you, I went back and forth on the decision for a while, but I figured that he wouldn't be back until about the 2nd round of the playoffs (best case scenario), and I can't run one-man short in the first round, so even if I keep him, I'd lose in the first round. And Jefferson is supposed to be back in 1-2 weeks, so I couldn't wait for Wade to decide because someone else might have swiped Jefferson, and then I'd be totally SOL.
I wouldn't necessarily pick Posey up, though -- who else is available on the waiver wire? Maybe someone's available who's injured, but will be back in the next few weeks, like Jefferson, JR Smith, etc?
Obviously, no one can make up for Wade's production, and the injury really hurt my team badly. I traded for Ray Allen in order to make up for the scoring slack, which is another option you might want to think about -- i.e. trading away production in areas where your team is weak in exchange for production that your team now lacks because of Wade's absence.

If he opts for surgery, then drop him, cause he's out for the year. If he opts for Rehab, then try to trade him for a week or so, for a decent 6th man on some other team. If youcan't get it done, drop him, and pick up someone else.

Depends how much you really need him...I mean if your in a good position and you know your going to make the playoffs just keep him for a month till fantasy playoffs start (on yahoo they do).
But if you really need some other player then I guess you should drop him. Althougth I cannot suggest who to pick since I don't know who is in FA.

I would hold him another week or so just in case. Once in awhile these guys are not hurt as bad as the media make out. If he can make an early return it might help you in the playoffs.
