You are braver than me. I was driven in Lisbon on business and it seems the average distance between cars is about a chewing gum packet. Scary stuff. Learn somewhere else in Europe. All the licences have been homologated and should be acceptable in any EU country.

Hi! Good luck! I'll tell you one thing, if you lean how to drive in Portugal you can make it anywhere! try the dgv they are the ones responsible for driver' licences or ask someone at your driving school.
