Depends on the person...You can have all the things money can buy and have no love life. Money ain´t the most important thing in life. It also depends what makes you happy. If you are materialistic type money can make you happy. But if you are more focused on the people and "to be" not into "to have" money is irrelavant. The western world is more focused on the money, where the greed for the money, fame and power became the most important. According to Maslow you can never satisfy a person completelly with just material stuff. For example you desire a diamond ring and once you have it on your hand the thing looses its value. Tomorrow you desire sth else like Gucci bag or sth. What you want goes to infinity. That is just the way people are.

I think it's true. Sure, you can buy all the fabulous things in the world, but can you buy TRUE love? Can you buy TRUE friends? No. Then, when you get a love or friends, you question whether they are there for your money or for you. You can't tell me that you would be happy being the lonely millionaire that has to buy company. I know I wouldn't be.
I agree with you to a point. You would find happiness due to the simple fact that money is no longer a stress producing thing. You don't have to worry about struggling to get your bills paid or working overtime.

sometimes money can buy happiness but not always.
I have a very wealthy friend that lives in a beautiful huge house with every mod con, awesome clothes, nice car and great job and is also engaged to a chap that earns a fortune as she does
BUT
neither of them are happy. WHY? because they are so busy and intent on making their million that they don't have holidays or children.
I have less money but am far happier. i have the man i love and two great kids. My house is average but it's a home and that's where my heart is. yeah money I'd love some...but my family are more to me than any money.
My friend even said i was lucky and she's swap with me any day just to have kids and a less stressed lifestyle.

Well I have been very hard up and I've been comfortably off and I know which I prefer. A severe shortage of money brings so many worries you can't seem to enjoy living day to day. I'm talking really hard up here....it interferes with your ability to focus on things when you're just trying to make ends meet.
So I would say you need enough money to get by to be truly happy.
Of course happiness is found in the smallest of things...a funny comment made by a child, a sunny day etc. but when you're worried about paying bills etc. the sunshine is tainted.

False, but it can take away the worries, and if you still lead a healthy liestyle with it you can be very happy.........it is best not to look to rock and pop stars because of the type of life they lead.........if you suddenly became rich you would not be famous, so it is in fact quite different. You will not be in the public eye and the have tabloids exagerate everything you do.

It always seems like the person saying this is the 200 million dollar winner of the Mega Millions or some lottery that squanders or blows his money, or gets in trouble somehow because of it. I would like to experience that and see first hand how it would make me happy!!

Money is financial security, it is a really miserable existence having to struggle. Happiness comes from the way you live your life, friendship, and being loved.

True, but it can help. Many couples argue and divorce over financial difficulties. So, if there was enough money and it was budgeted property, yes it can buy some happiness and peace of mind.

Nobody can be entirely happy, nobody in the whole world, rich or poor can have the full feeling of happiness all the time, so, we might as well have the feeling with money better than without it.
