My hubby and i just replaced the alternator(twice) and the battery(twice). yet im losing power and the voltage meter keeps going down? I was hoping to maybe get it figured out without having to take it to a garage, but i dont think the odds are in my favor. What the heck could i possibly be missing?

YOU HAVE A POWER DRAIN SOME WHERE

#1 CHECK ALL LIGHT BULBS, WITH KEY OFF, TO SEE IF ONE MAY BE STAYING ON.

#2 HAVE YOU HAD ANY THING EXTRA WIRED INTO THE RODEO: STERIO, EXTRA FOG LIGHTS, DVD, LCD OR WORKED ON THE WIRING HARNESS ITS SELF.

Whiskey,
Do this! When it gets dark so that you are able to see the spark remove the negative battery cable while the vehicle is off and then touch the cable to the battery terminal and if it gives a good visible spark then you have a short somewhere and it is draining the battery.
They are not always easy to find but sometimes if you remove individual fuses in the fuse box and then check for a spark this might reveal the problem area.
Good Luck!!!

you have something that is pulling current from your battery
you might be able to pull one fuse at a time out and in to find the draw on the battery Do you have a sound system in your ride the amp may be the problem
