A squeak has developed over the last couple of months. It's only heard when turning to the right. It's a rotational noise. The mechanic is convinced it's squeaky breaks due to the heat & humidity. He said he could not see anything wrong when it was up on the hoist and it will probably go away when the weather cools down in a couple of months.

The car is a 1999 Ford Falcon AU and has just had the lower all joints replaced (squeaking before this event and continuing after).

It could be a CV joint, since it only happens when turning.

The squeak occurs when driving, when the car is on the lift the suspenssion is fully extended and might not make the noise. He should check while the car is on jack stands under the suspension so that the wheels are at the same height as when its on the ground. Sounds like there is something worn somewhere.
