How can mankind improve upon democracy to make it better and truly represent the people instead of big money?

Representation votin & government, checks and balances, recall, more diverse, more women, children's interests, get more people voting,set election dates, no patronage appointments, abolish the electoral college, do away with the crown influence, avoid lame duck periods, reforming the system, rewriting a constitution, term limits, impeachment, scandals.. All of these can be good or bad for democracy. How do we make a democracy the best it can be for a society?

What you have just stated is where America is split down the middle. All of the things your asking for reform are being done by the Republicans. Does this mean Republicans should be disbanded? Good questions, that America seems to can't ever overcome because of this party and their rule.

Then we should balance the power in the Parliment or Congress by installing the opposition party against the ruling party so that either one of the party can fully control the policies. More than that, the opposition can act as the watch dog to look after the ruling party. hihih...

America's founders refered to democracy as repressive and as short lived as it was violent in it's death...
That's why Art.4 Sec.4 explained that America was founded as a Republic!

You list a number of ways for improvement. I would stress no "career" politicians. That just tends to lead to corruption.
