If you have piece of cardboard from a package cut it into two pcs. 6"X1" strips. Cut one of the strips in two (3"X1"). Fold the 3 x 1 over the edge of the 6 x 1 on one of the edges and flip it and do the same on the other or opposite side. A figure 8, left to right configuration. Poke a hole through the centre point and stick it on a piece of wire or pencil tip. Blow on it and it will rotate. The profile of the cardboard should resemble a triangle.

I once made an airplane using the paper cores of Christmas wrapping paper, plastic trash bag and packing tape... I was on leave at my parent's house and felt like building. Had no money and there wasn't any balsa wood laying around...
