I would love for my party to be more moderate, but no I don't want a third party in government.. I believe that would only lead to total gridlock. This is why it is so important to vote for the candidate and not the party.. Neither of the two parties has my total support.

Since I am registered as a independent, I do that now. One party voting never works. There will always be a candidate that you want that agrees with what you want that party does not support. Look at Joe Lieberman for a perfect example of not following party lines. One should never vote straight party ticket. To do so is voting blindly on issues.

Sure, if I found a party that closer fit my beliefs I would belong to that party as I do right now. There are some good things about the democrat party that are good, but their are so many ideas and beliefs that are so foreign to my honor, beliefs and integrity that I cannot in good conscious ever consider that party home.
