in fact the Pentagon has just announced that it is drawing up plans to bomb Iran on 24 hours notice from the White House?

If I recall, for years we had plans to attack the U.S.S.R. or other nations that posed a threat to our safety, and the safety of our troups and allies. Our military was on alert to attack the Soviets with WAY less time than 24hrs. We have conducted war games and prepared for all sorts of things that never happened. Should we have no plans to attack ANYONE no matter what?
If Iran is indeed providing arms and recruits to kill american soldiers, or if Iran attacks any U.S. forces or allies directly, are we to sit by and do nothing?

Well, I missd this on the news. Can you supply a link? Anyways, if this is true, most likely he is trying to help Haliburton and his cabinet make some money. Maybe. Since we all voted him in back in 2000( :-/ ), He has really gone the direction no one has wanted, and alot of people dislike him. I a surprised he has not been impeached yet.
