If you have an editing suit on you computer, it should have erase and format functions built in. read your instruction manual.

just go to menu on your dvd recorder & you'll probably find alink how to erase. i've got a panasonic dvd recorder & when i go to menu i get a link to disc management & i do it from there.

Easy option- snap it half and throw it the bin.
Better option- Just save over whats already on there. There's no way to just wipe it clear.

if you have Nero choose extras and it says erase disc but what ever burning programme you have it should do it before it starts to burn your new project good luck
