Why do you cons bother to respond if you're not going to at least TRY and answer the question?

Not me too old. But my brother has been in Iraq on 4 tours. My nephew was in Iraq for a year and is in Afgahnistan right now. Some people believe there are things worth fighting for, worth risking your life. One of them is freedom. Those not willing to pay that price don't deserve to have it.
I wish the folks that are against the war would go over there and surrender to the terrorist. And enjoy the tender mercies of the side they support. Who knows maybe they'd just be shot, instead of having their heads sawed off with dull knives.
Bottom line is that those that oppose the war put the rest of us at risk. If they only risked themselves I would have no problem with their opposition. They need to take an honest position. You can't support the troops by undermining their efforts here at home. At least be honorable. If you're against the troops, go join the enemy and take up arms against them in the field. At least then our boys would be able to defend themselves against your attacks.

Sounds like you have some built up anger management issues. People enlist into the armed services to protect our country. They cannot chose where the location should be. I know you must not know this or your question would be left irrelevant. If that is your best shot, you missed.

Although I agree with sentiment, I disagree with the
logic. Would I have argued that 90 year old amputees
from World War I should have gone of to fight World War II
just because they thought we should enter it?
