ive got bt home hub had it for 3 months if i go over to orange or aol or simler would i have to pay?

ive got bt home hub but cant change email address so if i go over to aol or orange or simler im 3 months into a one years contract will i have to pay the 9 months left ...and is it only bt that can give you a telephone line to the house or is there a phone line coupany thats good for home phone lines ..can you get all this all this just to change my main email address SENCEBLE advice please

whatever internet provider you choose you can still set your homepage to yahoo through internet explorer,just dont use the i.s.p,s built in browser
i have been with bt since it started doing broadband and to be honest they are easily the best internet provider by far
i know you may pay slightly more than other isp,s such as ornage and a.o.l but the quality and service with bt is second to none,and with bt you very rarely if any get any connection problems
if its the bt home hub that your not happy with then just use another wireless router as long as it is a adsl wireless router and not a cable router,or use your previous router if you had one
the main problem is that bt are the default telephone provider and all other phone comapnies rent their telephone line from them
so basically you would be much better off staying with bt,and changing your wireless router,and bare in mind bt option 3 have just increased their download limit to unlimited so you dont have to worry about being online too long
from personal experience when i have installed broadband for people ,i have allways had to go back to people using a.o.l/orange/tiscali ect but i never have problems with bt
