How can a divorced woman be Queen of England if our Queen is head of the Church of England which doesn't recognise divorce? After all a Catholic cannot be king or queen because they are not head of the Church of England. For them the Pope is head of the Church on this earth!

When Queen Victoria married Prince Albert (a German gentleman) he did not become King. In a similar way Camilla will never be Queen, due partly to the fact she is divorced . It is unlikely that the British people will accept her. Remember Charles's great uncle Edward V111 and Wallis Simpson---because of her he had to abdicate and both women concerned have striking similarities.

I don't think it is appropriate to have a role model for 'divorce living' as you put it. But if you have to have one then I would say 'no way' because they were both cheating on their other partners for so long and causing so much pain - particularly to Princess Diana who said ' there are 3 people in this marriage', meaning Camilla, Charles and herself.

I don't think that Charles and Camilla are really that bad of role models, however I don't really like what they did to Diana.
I mean, it's not like the two go to wild parties and take crack and get drunk all the time. Then, they wouldn't be good role models.

Charles and Camilla are only doing what any royal family has done for centuries. Sleep around and damn the consequences.
It's nothing new, they just have more publicity now, which means the whole world knows about it. They are not good role models for anything. They are just one big Soap Opera which shouldn't be taken seriously. Anyone who lives their life looking to the royal family as an example, is in deep trouble. They are a laughing stock.

If you need the royal family as a role model you should look at your own first. It shows they are real, what more can be said. Worry about the Princes, they lost their Mother before they had time to get used to the split of their parents. They are human as i hope you are

Charles & Camilla are too old to represent the views of the country. Charles should hand over to William, when he has married Kate Middleton, & they should be the new King & Queen.

The being divorced doesn't bother me as much as the adultery does.
