Tony Blair

OR

Simon Cowell

And if one was to move to the US, take up American Citizenship and run for President, who would you vote for?

Simon Cowell is easily more well known, by far!

Most Americans don't even know what a Prime Minister is, let alone who England's PM is.

Hmm, I don't think I'd vote for either really. I can't stand Cowell, and I don't particularly care for anyone known as Bush's lapdog....

Tony Blair. If it wasn't for the war having been all over the news for 4 years, it would probably be Simon Cowell; but, not everyone watches American Idol... I don't.

As far as which one I would vote for, the answer is neither. Both of them are horrible examples of human beings.

Tony Blair is better known in America but people will not vote for him in USA in case he runs for President after converting as an American citizen.

Simon Cowell is probably better known.

A lot of people have probably heard the name Tony Blair, but if they were shown a photo of both people the majority of the people would recognize Simon.

I wouldn't vote for either of them as president.

Depends where you are in the US...Mr. Cowell might be known in Toronto's Church and Wellesley district of New York (or certain parts of San Francisco) rather than 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC - and Mr. Blair most certainly will be known in the latter, then the former. Cowell might have the edge, as he's in the leisure industry. It could be said Blair is also, but on the islands of the continent of Europe, 3,400 miles east, there's no one laughing.
I do have relatives in Philadelphia - but they gave up on asking me to join them 25 years ago when I realised Mr. Reagan and Mrs. Thatcher were made in the same factory...and when you wound them up they made the same orders to their police officers, which usually resulted in death and destruction.

I am in the US. I know Tony Blair. I never heard of Mr. Cowell. Only citizens of the US, born in the US can run for President. Neither can run for President.

As we both know that Americans have as much knowledge of World politics as Saddam did for Democracy, I will have to go with Cowell. What a terrible import though?

Blair is famous for deputizing for Barney as Bush's lapdog.
