Oh Yes. They have the fiercest conscience and an uncorrupted, selfless, morally strong, responsible love for humanity in general. They are not tired, cynical minds with no hope. They are optimistic, aware individuals having the largest stake in politics and governance of the State. Politics is the most important social activity and there is not one reason why these individuals most related to knowledge and progression should be kept away. However we nowadays suffer from political activists who are not students but join a college or remain in it to pose as politicians and exploit the nation as student leaders.

No. They are deviated from their studies. But if there is a separate degree like political science then they can get practice. Also India needs to train good politicians for the future.

It is a wonderful idea to get students involved early in life in politics. It peaks their interest, educations them concerning the governmental process and produces more informed adults that will be apt to vote.

U need to learn many more things, before entering the politics..
if u r a Law student, then it is ok.. or else, better gain knowledge on Law before u enter politics...

yes of corse.The main problem of our politics is that it comprises only old people with similarly old views.Thoug resistance will come from all sides,a student should join politics.I myself am a student and have been stopped from going there.
