What is the deal with women and plastic bowls?

My mother, my girlfriend, my mother in law, they all seem to care more for the bowls than for me!!

Plastic bowls last forever,and are easy to clean.

you have a girlfriend and a motherinlaw?! maybe they can rely on the bowls more than you!? i havent a clue... but plastic bowls seem to multiply in the cupboards
