if its working , stick with it ,
i once dropped it in water , i put it in the sun for whole day (summer) the black marks went away as it become dry,

but if you had dropped it on floor , the black marks may mean the screen is damaged , n you may need to replace the lcd only , if ur mobile is insured go for it , othrwise stick to it if it is in working condition , but you can always show it to any mobile repairing shop to confirm the repair cost ,

If it's insured go for it. If not it's borderline between repair cost and buying a new one. Daughter had a swish Nokia that went swimming in a pint of lager (don't ask) and it was £50 just to do a "well this is what's wrong and here are some nice photographs" but no fix.

i would keep it if its still in working condition( it rings and u can answer it, and u can make calls) other wise your lcd is ruiend your going to have to buy a new phone unless u have insurance. if not. then your going to be paying full retail.
